Terms and Conditions

Please read the Seahaven Village terms and conditions carefully. Any use of our website by you constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions.

When you make a reservation with us, you agree to Seahaven Village terms and conditions on behalf of all guests staying with us as part of your reservation.

1. QUOTES AND RESERVATIONS

1.1. Accommodation is subject to availability and pricing at the time you make your reservation.

1.2. Any verbal quote given is an estimate only, which will be subject to written confirmation of your reservation.

1.3. Quotes are valid for 24 hours only unless otherwise stated.

1.4. Rates are inclusive of GST and are quoted in Australian dollars. Rates are dynamic and subject to change at any time.

1.5. You agree to pay the rate for each night of your stay and any additional charges up until the time you have departed the accommodation.

1.6. Minimum length of stay restrictions may apply during special event and peak holiday periods.

2. PAYMENT

2.1. If you make a reservation directly with Seahaven Village, a 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation and full payment is payable at least 48 hours prior to arrival.

2.2. Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express (2% surcharge will be incurred) or direct deposit.

2.3. If payment is made by credit card, the remaining balance is automatically charged to the same credit card 48 hours prior to check-in.

2.4. If payment is made by direct deposit, payment will be considered made when we receive cleared funds, and it will be your responsibility to contact Seahaven Village and ensure payment of the remaining balance at least 48 hours prior to arrival.

2.5. If payment is not received by the due date, Seahaven Village may cancel your reservation.

2.6. Please contact Seahaven Village on 0417 543 336 if you wish to pay by direct deposit.

2.7. Payment must be made in Australian dollars.

3. CORRECT INFORMATION

3.1. It is your responsibility to ensure that all the details on your confirmation documents are correct and to bring to our attention any errors or discrepancies within 48 hours of your booking.

4. CANCELLATION OR VARIATION

4.1. Reservations cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival will incur a 10% cancellation fee of the total reservation.

4.2. Reservations cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the total reservation.

4.3. Reservations cancelled less than 48 hours prior to arrival will require full payment and there will be no refund of the total reservation.

4.4. If you wish for your reservation is amended to a shorter stay, the above cancellation policy will continue to apply to the cancelled nights.

5. COVID-19 CANCELLATION POLICY

5.1. During these uncertain times, Seahaven Village offers flexible cancellation options for bookings made direct.

5.2. If there is a government mandated travel restriction which impacts you, Seahaven Village will provide a full credit for a future stay within 12 months.

5.3. Bookings made via third party websites will be subject to third party terms and conditions. Please contact them directly to find out more or to make changes.

6. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

6.1. Check-in time is 2:00 pm.

6.2. Check-out time is 10:00am. An additional fee may be charged if you do not check-out by 10:00 am.

6.3. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate early arrivals and late departures, the only way to absolutely ensure early check-in or late check-out is to book an extra night or half day where availability permits.

6.4. Half day rates are charged at 50% of the nightly tariff and will extend the check-out time until 2:00 pm and allow an early check in from 10:00 am.

7. NUMBER OF GUESTS

7.1. The number of guests staying at your room must not exceed the number reserved unless prior approval is given by us. An additional fee may be charged if guest numbers exceed the number reserved, or if extra beds are used or occupied.

7.2. Any people exceeding the maximum occupancy of a reservation will be considered trespassers and may be asked to leave the Seahaven Village property.

7.3. Any room booked for two guests are quoted based on twin share unless otherwise stated. If more than one bed is required, an additional fee of $40 will be payable.

8. CHILDREN + AGE OF GUESTS

8.1. All guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian unless alternate arrangements have been made. Seahaven Village may refuse a reservation where there is not a registered guardian accompanying guests.

8.2. Children’s prices for accommodation are included in the standard tariff rates and refer to children using existing bedding. Additional charges will apply if port-a-cot or roll away bed is required.

8.3. Not all room types will allow an additional port-a-cot or roll away and accordingly, please contact Seahaven Village directly at the time of making your reservation to ensure that we can accommodate your requirements.

9. CLEANING

9.1. All accommodation at Seahaven Village is fully self-contained, with kitchen and laundry facilities.

9.2. For stays of less than 8 nights, your room will not be serviced throughout your stay (unless you have selected as an add on during booking process).

9.3. For stays of 8 nights or more, your room will be serviced mid-way through your stay at no additional charge.

9.4. Additional room servicing is available at an additional charge by notifying Seahaven Village. At least 48 hours’ notice should be provided to ensure we can accommodate your request.

9.5. On departure, your accommodation is to be left in a clean and tidy state. Extra cleaning charges will apply if this condition is breached.

10. SMOKING

10.1. All our rooms are non-smoking. A charge of $500 will be incurred if smoking is performed inside any room.

10.2. Guests may only smoke if they do so outside and ensure that any nearby doors and windows are closed.

11. PETS

11.1. We welcome pets in some rooms at an extra $10 per pet per night. Please contact us at the time of making your reservation to ensure we can accommodate your pet.

11.2. If you bring a pet to your accommodation without consent you may be asked to leave the Seahaven Village property and to pay an additional cleaning charge.

11.3. If your being your pet, you are required to:

(a) Pick up after your pet;
(b) Bring all required bedding, food and water bowls;
(c) Ensure your pet does not go on any furniture or bedding;
(d) Ensure your pet is not left alone at Seahaven Village at any time.

12. Facilities

12.1. Reservations are made in room categories and not specific rooms and accordingly, we can not guarantee that you will receive a specific room unless a specific request is made and confirmed by Seahaven Village.

12.2. Whilst the care is taken to ensure that the description of facilities and services of Seahaven Village are accurate, these are continually being changed. If a feature is essential in a guest choosing a property, please confirm with Seahaven Village at the time of making your reservation.

13. Personal Belongings

13.1. Seahaven Village does not insure its guests’ personal property under its insurance policy, and therefore takes no responsibility for any loss or damage of the any guests’ personal property at Seahaven Village.

13.2. If a guest leaves property at Seahaven Village and it is not collected within 14 days after their check-out, Seahaven Village reserves the right to dispose of guest’s property without notice.

14. Car Parking

14.1. Onsite parking is provided for one vehicle for each room. There is no onsite parking available for trailers, boats, or other equipment.

15. Behaviour

15.1. Parties or gatherings are prohibited unless prior arrangements have been made with us.

15.2. Seahaven Village does not tolerate disturbance to other guests and neighbours including excessive noise and music and may result in immediate eviction from Seahaven Village without refund.

15.3. If a noise complaint is received from other guests or neighbours, a first warning will be given, if a second complaint is received this will result in immediate eviction from Seahaven Village without refund.

15.4. Whilst every effort is made to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere within Seahaven Village, the nature of the accommodation can be bustling and vibrant with families on holidays enjoying themselves, and accordingly, we can not always guarantee a quiet atmosphere. Any request to relocate will be subject to availability and may be subject to an additional charge.

16. Damages and Breakages

16.1. Damages or breakages to any Seahaven Village property including furniture or furnishings should be reported to us immediately.

16.2. Damages or breakages to any Seahaven Village property that are caused by any guest and/or a guest’s visitor will be charged and recouped in full from you.

16.3. Excess cleaning required on departure or replacement of items removed from the accommodation will be charged and recouped in full from you.

16.4. Furniture, fixtures and fittings are not to be altered or moved between rooms. There will be a charge incurred if furniture is not returned to its original location.

17. Lockouts and loss of keys

17.1. Loss of keys will incur a $50.00 replacement charge.

17.2. If a guest locks themselves out of their facility at any time between the time between 6pm and 9am, a room call out charge of $150.000 will be payable.

18. No Tenancy

18.1. You agree that regardless of your length of stay, there is no tenancy or other rights created under any tenancy laws and there are no such laws that apply to your stay.

19. Breach and costs incurred

19.1. You agree that, should you or guests under your reservation breach any of the Seahaven Village terms and conditions or incur an expense as outlined in the terms and conditions, you will pay to us the total loss or damage that we suffer as a result of that breach or the expense incurred. You authorise us to debit your credit card in payment of that loss, damage, or expense.

20. Liability

20.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seahaven Village will not be liable for any loss or damage to any personal property of any person or personal injury sustained whilst on or using Seahaven Village and you agree that you will not make any claim against us for any such loss or damage or personal injury regardless of how or where it occurred.

21. Changes beyond our control

21.1. You acknowledge that we do not accept liability for any injury, damage, loss, additional expenses and disruptions due to electrical storms or other acts of God caused directly or indirectly by events, which are beyond our control and agree not to make any claim in relation to such things.

22. STORAGE AND SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

22.1. Seahaven Village is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of the information that you provide us and we will take all reasonable precautions to protect your personal information from unauthorised use or alteration. In our business, personal information may be stored both electronically (on our computer systems and with our website hosting provider) and in hard-copy form. Firewalls, anti-virus software and email filters, as well as passwords, protect all of our electronic information. Likewise, we take all reasonable measures to ensure the security of hard-copy information.

22.2. All purchases that are made through this site are processed securely and externally by the RMS Payment Gateway and accordingly your personal information may be provided to RMS solely for the purpose of enabling us to process your payment through and deliver our service to you.

23.1.
